Name:
James Zak Evangelle
Age:
27-28
Gender:
male
Appearance:
James is about six foot eight (like my dad! *huggles*) with messy/spikey black hair (like Zack in Crisis Core). He has brilliant violet eyes and very light cream skin. On a typical day, he wears jeans; a black shirt; black or red Converse; and, of course, his trench coat with its many, many pockets. Sometimes, however, he will wear this pair of neon green Converse he's got, and some sort of crazy shirt-- just for kicks. He is the only agent from the JJMD, maybe even the whole gifted government, who calls 'casual' clothes like that his 'work clothes'.
Power:
~shadows... you can figure this out...
~illusion; can create 'images' by bending shadows and light, but he doesn't always like to because of what people 'order' him to create...
~James can control people's emotions. Not love or suicidal stuff (although he tries for the latter), but it is quite useful for interrogating hysterical or violent suspects since he can calm them down.
Personality:
As previously stated, James is the BEST government agent in all of history. He's a really nice guy; probably part of the reason why he joined the Juvenile Justice and Monitoring Department of the gifted government. He doesn't treat his cases as just a folder of papers in a filing cabinet-- he actually cares about people; just ask Ryou(other). James is far more relaxed than most of the other government agents around, and uses that to his advantage while solving cases; but, he is a bit discontent with the lack of respect he gets from his co-workers.
He is determined to solve every case assigned to him, and one that was not... He sometimes gets a bit sad, when he's remmeniscing about when his parents were alive; he sometimes is seen looking at a picture he keeps in a pocket on the inside of his coat when he's like this...
History:
Ten years ago, James' parents were found dead in a ruin-surrounded crater in the middle of no where, Montana-- what was left of his childhood home. At the time, he was attending Clayson's himself as a student, and made his decision then and there that he would become a detective. When he found out about the explosion that killed his parents, he immediately asked about his little sister--he was told that no one fitting her description had been found at the scene; James assumed she had been decimated.
The culprit to his parents' murder has never been caught, and he is determined to find them and put them away... or, get his revenge some other way...
IC:
<<Evangelle, show them the virtual crime scene,>> the other detective, quite a few years older than James, ordered.
<<Who's supposed to be in charge here?>> the twenty-seven year old detective muttered, holding out his hand, palm up. With an apologetic look at the accused, light and shadows began to bend above his open hand, twisting and contorting until they formed a three dimensional image of the crime scene.
<<You are under arrest on the charge of single homocide, one count,>> the older detective put the cuffs on the suspect, leading them towards his car. James sighed, heading towards his own car-- was it too much to ask for a little respect?
Other:
Among his cases, we have Ryou! James was assigned a few years ago to 'monitor' the boy's demon...
James is the much under-appreciated head of the Juvenile Justice and Monitoring Department (JJMD) of the gifted government. Most of the older detectives refuse to recognize his position of authority...
James knows just about everyone... trust me. If they have connections to the gov't, he knows them... Even the president.... *ebil smile of doom and chaos and... well, actually, it's not that bad, really...*
Also, he does Zack Fair smiles. Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII. And his hair is like Zack's in the beginning of the game, before he changed it...
